After heading to Death Valley for a chance to see military fighter jets flying through a canyon below, I saw something that changed my life. A jet in the distance approaching the canyon getting closer, louder. When that jet flew right below us it was more exciting than I had ever anticipated. It was that day I decided to become a photographer. I needed to learn how to photograph these "jets in the wild" and from then on I never stopped learning. After honing my craft, I got curious about what else the world of photography had to offer . I studied the origin of the photograph, the pioneers and the influential figures in the industry. I sought knowledge about the different mediums, the theory, and the many different subjects that can be photographed. Today, I have grown that curiosity into a passion for shooting film, street photography, photo journalism, events, and anything in between.
You can find me photographing anywhere from the Mojave Desert to photo walks with various clubs around Los Angeles.
My next project is a Zine with the question, "What if I got into this hobby 25 years ago?". Exploring the gear and techniques of hunting jets in the wild in the early 2000s, it will feature low flying jets and desert landscapes shot all on film. The Zine will be handmade and limited to 100 copies. Releasing August 2025.
